The Filipinos' strong cultural affinity with the United States is also a major factor. With this, contact center agents in the Philippines could very easily connect with their foreign customers on the other end of the line and vice-versa.
But does the country have enough of this manpower? Absolutely! Each year, Philippine universities—public and private combined—churn out about 360,000 graduates of which an estimated 30,000 to 50,000 are holders of computer science and programming degrees.
